About
About Trail Closet
Trail Closet is a marketplace built for one thing: outdoor gear. Tents, packs, skis, bikes, boats and everything that goes with them, bought and sold by the people who actually use them.
Why we built it
Good outdoor equipment is expensive, and most of it outlives the person who bought it first. A tent used four weekends a year has decades left. A pack that didn't fit one hiker fits the next one perfectly. Trail Closet exists to move that gear from a garage shelf back onto the trail.
Keeping quality equipment in use longer also lowers the cost of getting started, which makes the outdoors more accessible to more people.
What makes it different
Trail Closet is gear-only. Categories, condition standards, search filters and listing fields are written for outdoor equipment rather than borrowed from a general marketplace. Sellers describe condition honestly, photograph the actual item and ship with tracking, and buyers get the detail they need to buy used with confidence.
Who runs Trail Closet
Trail Closet is owned and operated by Delack Media Group dba Trail Closet.
