Marketplace Rules

• Listings must be truthful. Describe condition, defects, repairs, modifications and anything missing.
• Photos must show the actual item being sold, not stock imagery.
• Prices, brands, models and included accessories must be stated accurately.

• Counterfeit, replica or knock-off gear is prohibited.
• Stolen goods are prohibited.
• Items that are illegal to sell or ship, or that are restricted by carrier rules, are prohibited.
• Recalled safety equipment and life-safety gear with unknown history may be restricted or removed.

• Harassment, threats, hate speech and abusive messaging are prohibited.
• Spam, scams and phishing attempts are prohibited.
• Do not attempt to move a transaction off Trail Closet to avoid fees or protections.

• Sellers must ship within 48 hours using an approved trackable ground service.
• Tracking information must be entered in Trail Closet.
• Sellers must honor the return policy shown on their listing.
• Both parties must cooperate in good faith with Trail Closet during a dispute, including providing evidence and carrier records.

Report a listing, member or message through the Help Center. Reports are reviewed by Trail Closet and are not shared with the reported member.

Violations of these rules may result in:

• Listing removal
• A formal warning
• Temporary account suspension
• Permanent account ban

Trail Closet may also hold payouts, reverse transactions or restrict marketplace features while a violation is being investigated.
